The Situation: I Have A Prescription Pill Problem…Is He At Cirque Lodge?

Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has admitted he has a prescription pill problem.

“I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion,” the 29-year-old wrote on his Web site.

“I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys.”

While his rep has said he’s not in a rehab facility, TMZ is reporting that he is indeed at Cirque Lodge in Utah, whose alums include Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate Olsen.

According to TMZ, “The Situation is walking around Cirque, telling people he’s gained weight — and has made specific diet requests from the chef at the facility, hoping to get back into shape for the 6th Season of Jersey Shore.”

Jersey Shore‘s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has checked into rehab for substance abuse, TMZ.com is claiming.

The MTV reality star “has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule,” a rep for The Situation told TMZ.

The news comes one day after MTV announced the renewal of Jersey Shore for a sixth season, which has not yet begun production.

Jersey Shore‘s Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola says her co-star Snooki‘s pregnancy may be a suprise — but she’s no teen mom!

“It’s not like she’s 16 and pregnant,” Sammi tells E!. “She’s doing her thing, she’s living her life and I just think she’s blessed. I can’t wait to see a little guido or guidette running around. I just think it’s going to be so exciting.”

And Sammi’s already planning the wedding details! “I think for Nicole, I can see her having a cheetah or zebra print-themed wedding because she loves animal print,” she said. “I’m excited for them. I just can’t wait to party for the wedding and do all the fun things she has coming in her life now.”

So what’s Sammi going to get Snooki Jr.? “If it’s a boy maybe some hair gel,” she said.”If it’s a girl, maybe some baby bronzer. I think it’s definitely going to be Jersey-themed.”

 

‘Jersey Shore’ Stars Respond To Snooki’s Pregnancy

Following Snooki‘s confirmation that she’s indeed pregnant and engaged, her co-stars have come out to congratulate her.

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola said in a statement to gossipdavid.com, “Congratulations to both Nicole and Jionni on their engagement and the new addition to their family. I wish them all the joy, health, and happiness in the world.”

DJ Pauly D tweeted: “Congrats To My Girl @snooki So Happy For Her And Jionni!! I Better Be The Godfather 🙂 #UncleDJPaulyD.”

Deena Nicole Cortese, tweeted: “Congrats @snooki my Lil meatball!! Can’t believe we’re gonna have a little baby meatball running around soon.. Your gonna be a great mommy.”

But no word yet from Vinny Guadagnino!

Snooki‘s confirmed what we knew already: She’s pregnant and engaged to boyfriend Jionnni LaValle.

The Jersey Shore star is this week’s Us Weekly cover girl, and tells the magazine, “I have different priorities now. I don’t care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I’m ready and he’s ready.”

Snooki says she and Jionni discovered she was pregnant “right after New Year’s [and thought] ‘S–t, I’ve been drinking!’ I was worried. It was New Year’s Eve and we were in Vegas, so I did go crazy.”

We can’t keep up with Snooki!

Last week it was confirmed that the Jersey Shore star is indeed three-months pregnant. Now comes word she’s also engaged!

She and fiance Jionni LaValle are planning to marry, according to People.

“I know he’s the one so I know the ring’s gonna come soon,” Snooki told the magazine in January.

Meanwhile, shooting of the spin-off starring Snooki and JWOWW is currently under way in Jersey City, N.J., where the pair live in a converted firehouse together. Because of Snooki’s pregnant, MTV has scrambled to alter the plot.

Now that Snooki‘s three-months pregnant, MTV is scrambling to retool the Jersey Shore spinoff starring the pint-sized star and her pal JOWOWW.

“Plan for the direction of the spinoff have changed,” a source tells Saturday’s New York Post. “Instead of partying, it will now show a whole new side to Snooki.”

And another source tells the Post that scenes are being shot for the spinoff during which Snooki drops the “baby bombshell” and tells her pals while they “try and look surprised.”

But MTV isn’t upset about Snooki’s pregnancy, since they are giddy about the likely ratings boost it will generate. “It will definitely give MTV ratings,” says the source.

As for Jersey Shore, filming of its sixth season will kick up this summer. Says another source:  “They may throw a Jersey Shore baby shower, or have her just pop in from time to time.

Snooki‘s love of pickles is well known, but oddly enough, it’s not what the pregnant pint-sized star is craving.

According to HollywoodLife, three-months-pregnant Snooki’s now “obsessed” with frozen yogurt since becoming pregnant.

One source says Snooki has been heading to downtown Manhattan for her fix, specifically a Union Square store, Soft Serve Fruit Co. And when she doesn’t make the trip to the city, she’s been having it delivered to the converted firehouse in Jersey City, N.J., she now lives in with co-star JWOWW.

“She’s been ordering a ton of it lately,” says a source.

Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pregnant, according to the New York Post.

The reports comes just weeks after Snooki denied an earlier round of pregnancy reports, telling Good Morning America‘s Lara Spencer, “I definitely do want kids, but I’m not pregnant. Being pregnant should be a real thing and a happy thing, and I’m not.”

According to the Post, Snooki is three months along, and the baby’s father is her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle.

The newspaper also reports that Snooki is looking to cash in on her pregnancy — similarly to Kourtney Kardashian — by selling photos and interviews to the press. It says she’s inked a deal with Us Weekly.

Plus, the pregnancy may complicate the filming of Snooki’s new spinoff show with co-star JWOWW.

Snooki’s rep not MTV isn’t commenting.

‘Jersey Shore’ Spinoff Starts Filming Today In Jersey City! The Locals Are Supportive!

Here they come!

The first ‘Jersey Shore’ spin-off — starring Snooki & JWOWW — kicked off filming today in Jersey City, N.J. Filming will last six weeks.

Filming of the as-yet-untitled show will center around the pair moving into an old, converted firehouse in downtown Jersey City.

And so far, their neighbors have been pretty welcoming. “They’re doing a good job,” a resident of Mercer Street told The Jersey Journal, where the former firehouse is located, of the production crew’s etiquette so far. “They have been organized and respectful so far, so I plan on being a good neighbor in return.”

Another resident told the newspaper, “I am a little concerned about how this affects the parking and the noise levels at night. Still, I’m trying to be open-minded about the whole situation.”
