Natioanl Enquirer Publisher Mary Beth Wright is blasting criticism that the tabloid’s decision to publish on it’s cover a photo of Whitney Houston in an open casket was in appropriate.

In fact, she told FoxNews.com the photo is “beautiful.” But she stopped short of saying  how it obtained the photo. The funeral home, meanwhile, has denied it had anything to do with the photo being taken or leaked.

What do you think? Do you think the publisher is right?

JUST IN! WHITNEY HOUSTON’S CAUSE OF DEATH TO BE RULED AN ACCIDENT

The controversy surrounding the open-casket photo of Whitney Houston on the National Enquirer‘s cover this week shows no signs of slowing down.

One of the looming questions has been who is responsible for taking the photo? Well, according to the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, N.J. it wasn’t them: Owner Carolyn Whigham says,  “I’m going to answer you as the (family’s) publicist told me to answer you: We have no comment. But it was not the funeral home,” Whigham said.

Meanwhile, Enquirer Publisher Mary Beth Wright told FoxNews.com she thought the cover photo was “beautiful,” but declined to say how it obtained the photo.

JUST IN: Hotel Staffers Fired For Talking To Press About Whitney Houston! VOTE: Should They Have Been?

The fall-out from Whitney Houston‘s death two weeks continues: Now, a group staffers at the Beverly Hilton — where Whitney died on Feb. 11 — have been fired for talking to the press about the singer’s death.

Those staffers were “immediately reprimanded by the hotel and subsequently lost their jobs,” reports RadarOnline.

A source adds, “The hotel employees that talked to the media were fired because they violated hotel policy…They weren’t high level employees, but the hotel didn’t want anyone to talk about Whitney’s tragic death.”

While these employees have been fired, there’s no word yet about the fate — let alone identity — of the individual who violated Whitney’s final moments and took a photo of her in her casket, which is on the cover of The National Enquirer.

What do you think? Should the hotel staffers have been fired?

BOBBY BROWN SPEAKS! I Left Whitney’s Funeral Because Security Wouldn’t Let Me See Bobbi Kristina!

Bobby Brown has issued a statement explaining why he and his 9-person entourage left Whitney Houston‘s funeral, shortly after they arrived. Why did he leave? The security guards were being a pain!

“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”

BeBe Winans gave an emotional, heartfelt eulogy Saturday, at Whitney Houston’s funeral. At the conclusion of the eulogy, he joined his sister CeCe Winans in singin “I Really Miss You.”

“We spent a lot of time together and we talk about her voice and we talk about her talent, which was a beautiful thing, but what I’m going to miss is crazy Whitney.”

“If anything I want to share in what I’m going to miss is that Whitney when we were getting ready to to our first major headline tour and Whitney told us we had to come over. So we came over to the house and she said ‘Okay,’ we were sitting in the closet…her closet was about as big as a church so we weren’t crowded. So we’re sitting there, okay, so, all right, I’ve got to tell you what we’re going to do, we’re going to– I went and i had some uniforms made, looked at her, what? she said i’ve got the background dresses for the girls, the three girls in a cream, and, and i got the band and the cream for the shirts and bb i got you a suit, a cream suit and CeCe, I got you a melon dress made and I got me a green one. and she made her a green one. because we going to headline and she was determined and Clive, I know it made Clive so mad, but she decided at the height of her career she was going to come sing background with BeBe and CeCe!”

“And so we sat there and we said, Whitney, you can’t do that, nobody told you to do that, girl, this is not a material relationship!”

“And she said, ‘Okay, okay, look, let me just say this, you my brother and sister, right?’ We we said, ‘Yeah.’ She goes and I’m your sister, right? Yes, you are our sister. She said, okay, and we love each other, right. Yeah, we love each other and she said, and this is what I’m thinking– y’all broke, right?”

“And then she said, I’m rich, right? And I can buy what I want to for y’all, right? And that is the Whitney. That is the Whitney!”

Whitney Houston‘s co-star in The Bodyguard, Kevin Costner, gave a moving eulogy at her funeral in Newark today, that prompted a sea of tears and a standing ovation. Here’s his eulogy (some parts of have been edited out)

“What becomes of our broken hearts? Whitney returns home today, to the place where it all began. I ask that we dry our tears, suspend our sorrow, just long enough to remember the sweet miracle that was Whitney. We can’t forget Cissy and Bobbi Kristina sit among us. Your mother and I had a lot in common….A lot of people are thinking, really? You’re a boy, she’s a girl; she’s black, you’re white. I heard you like to sing, but our girl could really sing.”

“I told Whitney I always worried God would ask me to be preacher…Whitney said she wasn’t worried at all. She told God she would be like Aretha and her famous cousin Dionne.”

“We both grew up in the Baptist church…It wasn’t as big as this. my grandmother played the piano and she led the choir. her two daughters sang in it. My earliest memories are tied to that church in Paramount.”

“I can see her in my mind here, running around as a skinny little girl…I can also see her in trouble.”

“At the height of her fame as a singer, I asked her to be my costar. I thought she was the perfect choice. But the red flags came out immediately…It was a lot for the studio to accept and to their credit they did but not without a screen test…Whitney would have to earn it. Whitney was scared the biggest pop star in the work wasn’t sure if she as good enough. I held her hand and told her she looked beautiful and that everyone wanted her to be successful but I could still feel the doubt…It was the burden that made her great and the part that caused her to stumble again.”

“You weren’t just pretty, you were as beautiful as a woman could be…Whitney, if you could hear me now I would tell you you weren’t just good enough, you were great… I was your pretend bodyguard not too long ago and now you’re gone. Off you go, Whitney — escorted by an army of angels and your heavenly father. When you stand before him, don’t you worry. You’ll be good enough.”
