BOBBI KRISTINA: She’s Dropping Her Dad’s Name!

Whitney Houston‘s daughter Bobbi Kristina wants to shed “Bobbi” from her name, because of its connection to her father Bobby Brown.

Bobbi Kristina has been telling friends she will become “Kristina Houston,” according to TMZ, which also reports that she first pushed to change her name six years ago when her parents separated, but mom Whitney blocked the change.

The root of the 19-year-old’s wrath stems from when her dad left Whitney’s funeral after a disagreement over seating arrangements.

Target has pulled a greeting card from its shelves that reads, “Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston” — an obvious reference to Whitney’s ex-husband Bobby Brown.

Bobby Brown did indeed attend ex-wife Whitney Houston‘s funeral Saturday in Newark — but jaws dropped when he was spotted leaving at the beginning of the service, shortly after he paid his respect at Whitney’s coffin.

Why the abrupt exit? Bobby, who reportedly had been banned from the service by the Houston family initially, arrived with a nine-person entourage, and wanted everyone to sit together. But he was only granted two additional seats — not 9! Plus, he wanted to sit next to his daughter Bobbi Kristina.

Bobby got into a argument with Whitney’s family, and Rev. Jesse Jackson tried to patch up things, but no dice. So he left.

BOBBY BROWN SPEAKS OUT ON WHITNEY AGAIN: “Sometimes You Have To Move On”

Bobby Brown returned to the stage Thursday night in Maryland, and addressed the death of his ex-wife Whitney Houston.

“I would like to say thank you for your prayers,” he told the crowd. “I would like to say I love you all! I’d like to say thank you period. I want to throw two up for Whitney. That’s my love.”

Brown also pointed out his family, who attended the concert, saying, “I want to throw two up for my family over there, sitting over there, my two sons, my daughter and my beautiful lady.”

He added, “Life is life. You have to move on sometimes. I love her [Whitney] like I love God!”

Bobby’s group, New Edition, will perform tonight in Greensboro, N.C., and on Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn., just hours after Whitney’s funeral.

Bobby Brown arrived in L.A. Sunday night, but he still hasn’t seen daughter Bobbi Kristina.

TMZ is reporting that Brown believes Whitney Houston‘s mother, Cissy Houston, is behind the blockade.

According to TMZ, Brown “placed several phone calls” and  “made an attempt to physically see her early this morning” but still hasn’t seen here.

Brown’s furious with the decision, since he pulled out of his tour and came to L.A. specifically to be with Bobbi.

Whitney Houston‘s funeral will be held in New Jersey Saturday, but if her family has its way, Whitney’s ex-husband Bobby Brown won’t be there.

According to Extra, the family doesn’t want Bobby — who physically and emotionally abused Whitney during her marriage — at the funeral.

Extra reports that Bobby “will most likely be turned away if he tries to attend.”

Still another source says the family “is well aware of Brown needing to attend the service in order for him to comfort his 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina.”
