Rumer Willis has finally broken her silence about her mom Demi Moore‘s recent hospitalization and rehab stay.
She reportedly told a German media outlets called The A-List, “My mother is on the road to recovery. It’s slow going but we believe in her.”
She added, “Of course the situation weighs heavily on me.”
Demi, whose vices include prescription pills and alcohol — and she also is being treated for an eating disorder — is currently seeking treatment at Utah’s Cirque Lodge.
With the release of Demi Moore‘s 911 tape, it’s been revealed that her daughter Rumer Willis, 23, was in the house when paramedics rushed to her mom’s aid.
The 911 male caller — who said Demi had gone into convulsions after she “smoked something” — is heard saying “Hey, Ru. What’s the name at the gate so that we can buzz them in from here?”
“Ru” is Rumer’s nickname.
She was spotted earlier this week outside an L.A. area hospital visiting her mom wearing a visitor’s badge.
Since Demi and Ashton Kutcher ended their marriage late last year, “Rumer’s spent more time with her mom in the last few months than she has in a while,” a source told People.
