The Bachelor‘s Ben Flajnik and his fiance, Courtney Robertson, spent their first week together without the cameras rolling in his hometown of San Francisco.
According to these photos obtained by Life & Style, on March 18, they were spotted going to see an apartment. But, says, an eyewitness, “They weren’t smiling, not like a happy couple.”
Courtney was also spotted playing with Ben’s Jack Russell terrier, Scotch, at a park, but the eyewitness claims she “didn’t play with the dog” and spent most of the time on her phone texting.
Then on Friday, the couple had dinner with a group of Ben’s friends at Bobo’s Steakhouse, but they didn’t appear in sync, claims an eyewitness. “It didn’t seem like they were together; it seemed more like they were part of a frat party.”
It seems buzz about Bachelor star Ben Flajnik and contestant Courtney Robertson being engaged is true — in fact, he reportedly gave Courtney a custom-made Neil Lane engagement ring (see photo below of a similar Neil Lane ring)
A source tells Wetpaint Entertainment, which broke news of the ring, “The main stone is cushion cut…It’s surrounded by pave diamonds and there’s also a pave band. It’s phenomenal.”
“Ben had it made for specifically for Courtney,” the source adds. “He put a lot of thought into it and worked closely with Neil to create what he hoped would be the ring of her dreams.”
According to Wetpaint Entertainment, Courtney said yes when Ben got down on one knee in Switzerland, where the finale was taped. “They are engaged to be married, but Courtney isn’t allowed to wear her ring yet. I don’t believe she was allowed to keep it after the proposal – I think the show’s producers are holding onto it. She and Ben have to wait until the season finale before she’s allowed to wear it in public.”
